First smooth your nails out with a bffeur to remove any ridges. Moisturize your cuticles (you can even use olive oil) I would recommend Salley Hansen Hard as Nails. It is cheap and it does the job. The key I think is to start with smooth nails and moisture those cuticles daily and you should see some results. I hope that helps!

Hi Kristin,I am really lkioong forward to the blue- thanks for letting me know about it.OPI does a wonderful job on their polish, and I like Sally Hansen, too. I’ve heard good things about Hard Candy, but you can’t get it in my area.And if you’re lkioong for a really chic, distinctive look, you can’t go wrong with Dior.

I did not buy this product from aamzon but went to my local sallys when I found out about it. Let me tell you, this polish is glitter galore! It goes on smoothly and with two coats, it completely covers your nail in beautiful glitter. Definitely a color for the holidays and a must have for those who love a ton of glitter!

If they are real UV gel nails you will not damage them with eethir acetone or non-acetone polish remover. You won’t have any problems as long as they are real UV gel nails which is applied as a gel, not with liquid and powder as acrylic nails are. If the tech used any liquid and powder on your nails, you have acrylic nails not gel.

I was one of Lumes’ distributor in Canada in the Southwest of Ontario. I lived in the Windsor,Ontario area and we had a lot of megenits in Dearborn or Troy , Michigan. I loved the product and so did my customers until they started changing it and I couldn’t back it anymore. I kept my kit and lamp up until last year but I couldn’t find the product.I would like to no more about your company please.ThanksBetty O’LearyKingsville,Ontario, Canada

ive allways been a nail biter, and i watend nice nails for my prom, so i got gel fake nails. they looked beautiful, but ive took them off now- ad my nails have been the worst they have ever been!They are so rough to touch, they look terrible and they are so weak!They are paper thin, and so flimsy.I was wondering whether anybody knew of anything that could help my nails, i wearing nail strengthener but i need more than that to get them stronger anything is helpful..thank you so much

The Lume lamp uses a single 6 Watt bulb. I am unaware of a 36 Watt bulb that will fit.
Sometimes Lamps may use multiple bulbs to increase the wattage. The Lume 6W Lamp would cure
CND Shellac UV Nail Gels, it would just take a little longer. All UV Bulbs need replacing at some
time we recommend after 100 hrs of use (max). They will still turn On, but loose UV Strength.

I have an old Lume UV light, light mint green color body. I don’t know the watts of the original bulb, but would like to replace it with a 36W bulb to use CND gel polishes.
Is that possible? The body shows no model # or bulb info. My mom owns a salon and
used it, but not much. Or should I just buy a new one? Thank you, Nancy
